Sierra Leone Seed Program ($2.00 USD/seed packet)

With excessive hunger, starvation, and death related to malnutrition, poverty levels in Sierra Leone are at an all-time high post-Ebola Outbreak. Cultivating seeds such as cashew nut or indigenous trees bearing fruits (mangos, coconuts, palm tree kernel nuts), community groups can use excess produce to sell and generate a small amount of income for their prospective community groups and families. With this income, the community groups can then pursue larger ventures to uplift their communities.

In-kind seed donations are much appreciated here, where rainfall is the highest in West Africa and nearly everything planted…GROWS!

Please consider donating to SSAAP. Any donation will help. No donation is too small.
